Hey y’all. I’m Paula… no, I’m Dana Carroll. I wish I was Paula Deen. Actually not, but I wish I could cook like Paula! But anyways… this completes my night of Paula Deen cooking. I made a wonderful recipe called Mashed Baked. What I did was boil hash browns (cubes or strings… what ever you want) for about 3 to 4 minutes and then I put them in with one package of instant herb and butter mashed potato. And of course me and Paula’s favorite… some butter! I mixed that all together, then I put 2 cups of boiling water in with all that and mixed it together, and then the hash browns just started to mash and I didn’t think that would happen but it did and it was SO AWESOME!!! Then once that was all mixed up I put it in a casserole dish and then cooked it for about 35 minutes and then when it had about 5 minutes left I put canned french fried onions on top and then browned them to crisp them up. Oh my goodness they were out of this world delicious! I was blown away. They were gone in about 5 hours! My brother and dad and I had more than half the dish at once and then my mom came home and ate the rest! I’m sorry, but they were so good, that I never got a picture, but you know what you can do, is make them your self and see what they look like in real life! They were so good and yummy y’all. They are by far the best dang taters I’ve had in my life! So, quote Paula Deen “Best dishes from my kitchen to yurs!” unquote!

Oh yeah! I think that title speaks for it self!!! Oh my goodness. Okay, who has had lava cake before? Well I never did and I was so amazed at how it tasted. It was like, the richest piece of chocolate I have ever had. I am so serious. Yep, this is my favorite dessert recipe yet. Okay, I have one confession. And I know, this is the best part of a LAVA cake, but I over cooked them the tiniest bit and it’s not oozey, so that really cramped my style, yo!!!! But still, they were really good, anyways. And another thing that I absolutely loved about these was that they were so easy!!! I melted some bitter-sweet chocolate and some semi-sweet and butter and then added sugar and flour and eggs… just the normal. Kinda like a brownie, but not exactly. And then when they were in the oven, the smell started to come out, and it smelled like heaven! Oh my, I don’t have anything else to say… just, this recipe is definitely a keeper! Enjoy!

Oh boy y’all!!! This was an AHHMAZING recipe!!!! Tonight was my Paula Deen night (which I will blog about the other stuff too… of course). I had watched some of her videos last night and one of them was called “My Grandmothers Table” and she made her grandmas fried chicken, and it looked completely out of this world, so today I went on the internet and looked up the recipe and made it… because I could not resist. Oh my gosh… I am speechless and I am just searching for words to describe this. Well, for the first thing I guess I can tell you how I made it. Okay, so I had to put it in the fridge for two hours with salt and pepper on it. This was a whole chicken cut into pieces, and my chicken was giant… which I don’t recommend a giant chicken because it took forever to cook. Especially the breasts… so try to find a small chicken. Not too small though. Then like you make normal chicken, you soak it in egg, then cover it in flour and cook it in lots of oil…. lots and lots of oil! Then the special secret you do with this is you cover the chicken with a lid. Paula said that this was her grandmothers secret to her special chicken… to cover it with a lid. You say… “Now how does that change the chicken?” Well, I don’t know that either! But then I fried it and it was done and I ate it and I don’t know how it came out so good!
